Susan M. Roberts, Counsel

Susie Roberts practices real estate, telecommunications and municipal law helping clients with retail and office leasing, zoning, and commercial and residential real estate matters. Susie comes to Anderson & Kreiger after 12 years doing commercial leasing at Goulston & Storrs PC, where she represented a host of shopping center and office building owners and retail and office tenants. Her diverse private and public sector background includes positions as environmental counsel at US Trust and RECOLL Management Corporation, and as deputy chief of the consumer division and assistant attorney general in the environmental division at the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office. Past and current client experience includes:

• Drafting over a hundred leases for shopping center owners New England Development, W/S Development, Mashpee Commons, Samuels & Associates, and Hecht Development.
• Serving as leasing counsel to retailers J. Jill, J. Crew, New York and Company, Alfred Dunner, Lord’s & Lady’s, Mizu for Hair, Green Tangerine, Tropical Smoothie, Lids, Swarovski, Speedo and Ann & Hope.
• Acting as zoning and permitting counsel for AT&T in numerous cities and towns across Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
• Advising the towns of Acton, Lexington, and Concord in various title and licensing matters.

Susie is a Town Meeting Member in Brookline and serves on a task force focusing on development of the Waldo and Durgin garages in Coolidge Corner. She also sits on the boards of the following organizations:

• Boston University Howard Gotlieb Archival Research Center, Vice-Chair, Board of Advisors
