Overview

Kristen joined Anderson & Kreiger in 2021 after graduating from the University of Chicago Law School, where she was a Rubenstein Scholar. Kristen works with public and private sector clients on a variety of issues ranging from land use to due diligence to internal investigations. Prior to her work as an attorney, she was a middle school social studies teacher in both Houston, Texas and Miami, Florida. She also worked at BPI, a law and public policy organization in Chicago, where she researched government ethics, campaign finance reform, and first amendment rights for incarcerated people.

BEYOND THE OFFICE

Kristen enjoys reading historical fiction, playing recreational sports, and board games. She also loves watercolor painting, despite her lack of inherent artistic talent. Kristen lives in Somerville with her rescue dog Riggins.

  • In pro bono matter, worked on team that filed amicus brief explaining the racially disparate impacts of youthful offender records in support of the successful petitioner in Impounded Case, SJC-13465.
  • Successfully represented Nantucket Homeowner in Short-Term Rentals (STR) lawsuit against neighboring property owner and the Town of Nantucket.
