Trekking to the Hill for Civil Legal Aid

Walk to the Hill is an event that gets lawyers to visit their state senators and representatives individually and ask for full funding for civil legal aid – the kind of legal assistance that can keep low-income people from wrongly losing their jobs, insurance or housing. Civil cases often have as much power to affect a person’s life as criminal ones, and Massachusetts is better off when it makes sure all its citizens have access to the courts.

Even though the event is not the quick “walk” for Anderson & Kreiger that it is for most Boston-area firms, we make the trek every year.
