Initially, I was drawn to A&K because its municipal practice is a great way for a young attorney to gain experience while working on gratifying matters for cities and towns. But I was also pleasantly surprised by how much complex litigation the firm does. That factored into my decision. Also, I had heard favorable reports on the firm’s environmental practice in the legal community, and that played a role as well – I had worked for the DOJ’s Environmental Enforcement Section, and wanted to continue with environmental work.
