Anderson & Kreiger Attorneys to Speak at ACI-NA Conference
Anderson & Kreiger is pleased to participate in the Airports Council International-North America (ACI-NA) 2019 Legal Affairs Spring Conference on May 1-4. The conference brings together airport legal professionals and consultants to identify and discuss the most pressing legal developments and issues associated with the airport industry.
David Mackey will speak at two sessions – “Communication, Conflict and Confidentiality: #MeToo Meets Legal Ethics – Part I and Part II” – which include a discussion of the ethics issues that airport lawyers may face in the practices.
Mina Makarious joins a panel entitled “The Status of Drone Tests and Policies,” of which topics include how airports can benefit from drones; do airports need the ability to take counter-drone measures, and if so, what are the legal implications; will the Newark/Teterboro/Gatwick experiences change the political dynamic; and what role, if any, do states play in addressing drones.
Christina Marshall will participate in a session called “Practicalities of Working in an Airport Legal Office,” which explores the fundamental task of finding and interpreting airport law.
Finally, TJ Roskelley will be speaking at the Airport Law Roundtable, at which attendees discuss a variety of emerging legal topics and issues.
